What is New Day?
New Day, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization that provides a range of services to children and their families. New Day, Inc. is dedicated to improving the lives of troubled youth by providing quality care, treatment and a safe environment for youth in Montana and the surrounding areas. New Day, Inc. offers a variety of services involving therapeutic, educational and recreational activities. These services and programs are designed to help meet the needs and provide support to Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children and their families.
What is New Day’s mission?
New Day, Inc. offers quality mental health, chemical dependency, and education services that are consistent with professional standards to those participants who meet the State of Montana criteria for “serious emotional disturbance”. New Day, Inc. provides care and supervision, individual and group psychotherapies, and traditional classroom education learning and an outdoor adventure educational learning program.
What is New Day’s vision?
The vision of New Day, Inc. is to provide a safe environment where mutual respect exists between staff and participants which allow for a genuine opportunity for participants’ therapeutic healing.
Which children are qualified for New Day’s services?
Any child who is diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and who qualifies for Montana Medicaid is eligible for services. Our Clinical Director is also available to provide a Mental Health Assessment for those youth in need who do not yet have an SED diagnosis.
