New Day, Inc. is currently seeking talented individuals for the following positions:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides professional guidance and direction to maintain and improve the quality of the service delivery in effectivley meeting the needs of the participants in placement at New Day Group Homes. Lead Clinical Staff’s working hours on Campus are from 11:00am-7:00pm, Monday through Friday, which will allow for the proper management of tie and work schedules. It may be necessary to work occasionally evenings and weekends. Additional duties may be assigned by Administration.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Major Functions:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lead Clinical Staff is responsible for the supervision and overall provision of the treatment services to the youth in the therapeutic group home.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirement listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, counseling or psychology, management and extensive experience working with troubled youth and families and the subsequent development of the emotional problems by displaced and dysfunctional youth. Effective July 1, 2012, the LCS must be licensed clinical psychologist, licensed master level social worker (MSW), or licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC). The LCS can be an in-training mental health professional. Familiarity with word processing and computer concepts. Ability to perform managerial and training functions efficiently and within established time frames. Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality and exhibit diplomacy and tact.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write repots and correspondence. Ability to respond to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and groups.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to computer rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must maintain status as certified Non-violent crisis prevention, CPR, and First Aid Instructor. Must have a valid current Montana Drivers License with an insurable driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are responsible of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; stand, walk; sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision. This position may require the use of safe, non-injurious physical interventions (in the scope of non-violent crisis intervention training) to maintain safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the therapeutic youth group home(s), ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants, and aligning program activities with the organization’s mission and objectives. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with clinical teams, and providing therapeutic interventions as needed.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Residential Team Lead, directly supervise staff employed as Youth Care Specialists and the daily operations of the unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with word processing and computer applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Email, and Cellphone applications. Strong managerial and training skills. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy and tact.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or a minimum of 6 years of human
services experience for those without a degree. Preferred experience with seriously emotionally disturbed and chemically dependent populations.
